It has been a long wait for the sleep mode feature to arrive on Spotify. Now you can switch the sleep mode timer on as soon as you get in bed. Carry on listening to the music and it turns off on its own when the time is up and hopefully you will be asleep by then.

The sleep mode feature comes as a standard part of the audio apps and can prove handy for many who often tend to fall asleep while listening to music or a podcast.
Setting up the sleep mode in Spotify is pretty straightforward, follow the steps mentioned below.

  1. Play music or a podcast
  2. Tap the three dots at the top right to open the menu.
  3. Select ‘Timer for sleep mode’.

You can choose between 5, 10, 15, 30, 45mins, and an hour, or till the end of the current track, you are playing. Once the timer goes it will cut off the music. Certainly an amazing feature as no more need to worry about turning off the track before we fall asleep.
