Do you know how to check your hidden Facebook inbox? Many of you might not even know Facebook has a hidden inbox and you may have dozens of your texts in it.
How to Check your Hidden Facebook Inbox?
The hidden Facebook inbox is easy to miss and might be full of unread messages you’ve never seen.
The Hidden Facebook Inbox comprises messages from your people who are not friends with you on Facebook, and are logged as “message requests”.
No matter how strange it may sound, Facebook does not send notifications when you get such messages and they do not appear in your default inbox.
These messages from your unknown friends land in a “message requests” folder.
Hidden Facebook Inbox
- Open the Facebook Messenger app on your smartphone.
- Select your profile picture icon in the top left of the screen.
- Scroll down to “message requests” – tap on it to see your unread messages.
In case you don’t know the person, Facebook will show you some information about the person. This will speed up things, the sender of the message knows if you’ve seen the message until you reply. This means you don’t need to worry about looking rude if you don’t respond.
A word of caution, once you respond to the message it connects with your Facebook account and continues to exchange messages with each other as if you were Facebook friends.
If you thought it’s the only hidden feature that comes along with Facebook, that is not true.
