Instagram rolls out product tagging for US users, a feature earlier only available for creators and brands. 

According to Instagram users can now tag a product after choosing a photo or video and moving through the filtering and editing screen, Tap “Tag people” on the “New Post” screen and select “Add tag.” Instagram Rolls out Product tagging feature to U.S. users-1You will have to tag the brand first and select the “Products” option on the bottom right-hand corner of the screen. Search for the product and select the item with the right specification and Tap the photo to add the tag.Instagram Rolls out Product tagging feature to U.S. users-2Right now you can only tag products on posts to the feed, Instagram is working on incorporating this feature for stories. The feature only works with public accounts and not private ones. Earlier  Instagram added the chronological feed option for mobile devices, it allows you to opt-out of the algorithmically-sorted feed.  Yet another feed option on Instagram enables users to view posts from favorite accounts, also displayed chronologically, while the algorithmic feed remains the default.
