The latest Tweetbot 7.1 version for iOS brings background notifications, refreshed icons and many more features. Tweetbot developer Tapbot in a tweet mentioned all the new features added to the popular Twitter client for iOS users.  Worth mentioning is the update comes a few weeks after a major version was unveiled by the company.

The new Background Refresh push feature to enable new notifications available in Tweetbot 7.1 will include new follower notifications, quote tweet notifications, and when specific users tweet.

Additionally, Tweetbot users will enjoy an improved experience with notifications. The app also offers refreshing unread counters, as well as people’s personal favorite, refreshed icons.
