Tinder Loops - Add Spice To Your Tinder Profile With  2-Second Looping Videos
Reading Time: 2 minutes

Tinder Loops allows you to add spice to your Tinder profile with 2-second looping videos. The latest feature can help you make your profile stand out. With this, it also offers you space for up to three additional profile photos or Loops, for a total of nine.

The latest feature allows you to add 2-second looping videos to your Tinder profile alongside still photos. The feature has been tested earlier in countries such as Canada and Sweden since April, and now will be rolled out for iOS users in the US, Western Europe, and select countries in Asia and the Middle East.

If you are worried about losing your existing photos for the looping videos on your profile, you don’t need to as it also provides you 3 additional profile photos or Loops, for a total of nine.

Tinder in a blog post said, “That’s right, you get two seconds of looping video to show more personality, which is the best way to get more right swipes. You can be flirty, you can be fun, but no matter what, be you.”

Earlier last month Tinder introduced this feature in Japan, where the users with Loops on their profiles got almost 10 percent more right swipes, on average than those without Loops.

To try out the feature, tap the “Add Media” button and select a video from your phone. You can trim and preview your loop before adding it to your profile.

Tinder in the blog said, “If you love roller skating let’s see you killing it in the rink—forward and back, forward and back. Pro tip: increase your video speed and you just went from slow skate to roller disco.”

Earlier last week Tinder announced it will beef up encryption to safeguard users from prying eyes. The platform said, “Images transmitted between the Tinder app and servers are now fully encrypted.”
