Google Pixel Watch with Wear OS 3.1
Google has been working on the Google Pixel Watch project, codenamed ‘Rohan’ for a while now. The Pixel Rohan will run on Google Wear OS 3.1 as seen from the image of an ‘interactive tutorial for a device‘.
We would like to mention the latest version of Wear OS 3.2 is available. Many of the latest Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 models are also running Wear OS 3.2, it’s rather strange how Google is going to launch with an old version of the operating system.Obviously, not all leaks turn out to be true, we can definitely expect to see more updates on the Pixel watch in the upcoming updates from Google.
Apart from the screenshot, nothing specific in terms of specs or design has been revealed. Though the renders by Jon Prosser suggest the Pixel Watch will come with a round dial and a silicone strap.
In his tweet, Blass stated, “won’t be long now”, perhaps an indication Google’s first smartwatch might be just around the corner. Based on the speculation it looks like the Pixel Watch launch will take place at Google IO Conference 2022 which will begin on May 11.
Few other rumors suggested Google may launch the Pixel Watch alongside the Pixel 6a at the IO, which might be surprising.
