Moon Projector offers a hybrid style of teaching which turns your textbooks into learning experiences powered by augmented reality.
The Moon Projector is designed to make learning from home an easy and rewarding experience, similar to having a teacher or tutor around you. The device allows teachers to interact with the students via augmented reality. While the projector sits in front of textbooks, it overlays virtual elements on top of the book-printed text. The teachers are able to interact with students via the Moon projector like underlining paragraphs, leaving notes, highlighting images, and even scoring papers in real-time.The device is also accompanied by a stylus which the mentor can use to make digital annotations on the textbook. These can later be translated onto the textbooks of the students.
The Moon Projector comes with a smartphone app that allows teachers and students to interact with each other. They can ask questions and track a mentee/student’s overall progress over time.
The Moon Projector is an ideal device for a kid in an educational setting, as it comes with a simple design and a bare-basics interface. It has a soft exterior which makes it look friendly and approachable. The big buttons on its upper surface allow kids to control it without being jaded or intimidated. The stylus uses a touch-sensitive tip, while the underlying cameras track its movement across the textbook. The microphone button allows the mentors to communicate directly with the mentees. They can send voice note lectures during an online lesson. The device makes the online learning experience frictionless for online tutoring/teaching. The Moon Projector offers a tech-enabled alternative to a blackboard/whiteboard, a human mentor/tutor sitting with you and explaining your lessons to you.
