Nokia Wheel inspired by Nokia 5300 XpressMusic is designed by Tadas Malinauskas. There is not much in common when it comes to steering wheels and phones, but the designer has managed to merge them in a way no one else could think of.
Nokia Wheel maintains the aesthetic that reminds you of the direction pad button layout of the Nokia 5300 XpressMusic cell phone but with a modern twist.
It looks like a Bluetooth-enabled accessory for all your gaming needs. The Nokia Wheel also features a storage box for your daily essentials.
On the back of the wheel, there is space for keeping your keys, coins, stationery, etc. We never know, but it may adopt a dual role of a steering wheel to steer your car, and maybe later you can play games on the racing simulators.
We have seen something similar with Fanatec who designed the Podium Steering Wheel BMW M4 GT3 and Bentley Continental Pikes Peak GT3 steering wheel and are being used in their respective cars and the racing sims too
The Nokia 5300 ExpressMusic retro look with the daily keys and home navigation button below the display area steals the show. You will surely fall for the steering wheel’s simplistic design aesthetics, matte black finish in the middle, and the textured fabric on the outside for a better grip at high speeds. The steering wheel brings back the nostalgic memories of when smartphones were like your priced toys
