Upcoming Intel Arc Flagship GPU wont beat Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti graphic card. Intel is coming out with a new graphics card called the Arc A7 very soon. The performance on this device will update after a few months.
A German tech site and Eurogamer conducted interviews with Intel. Tom Petersen and Ryan Shrout spoke to VideoCardz and Digital Foundry, respectively. Both outlets reported on what the interviewees had to say.
You can find reference cards from Intel on the Team Blue site during launch. They will also have custom boards for sale in countries such as Germany, which is one of their target markets.
When the new graphics card, the A770, is released, it will be around the middle of performance compared to the RTX 3060 and 3060 Ti. The A750 is about on par with the RTX 3060.
The performance will vary depending on a wide variety of factors, for example DX11 games will have wonky performance. The middle performance is going to be the Radeon RX 6600.
One problem with Arc GPUs is that older PCs don’t support ReBAR, which can slow performance for PCs with little RAM. Intel is working on this problem by developing drivers to help CPUs and GPUs work together better.
