Facebook Gaming App Will Shut Down In October

The Facebook Gaming App will be ending on October 28th, according to the company the gaming app will no longer be available on that date on both iOS and Android devices.

The Gaming app has been shut down because the company is struggling to compete with apps such as YouTube and Twitch. Despite this, the statement says that Facebook will still be able to connect gamers.

The Facebook Gaming app team said, “we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to all of you for everything you’ve done to build a thriving community for gamers and fans since this app first launched. This was truly a community-led effort to bring new gaming features to Facebook.”

Facebook Gaming streams offer less lucrative deals than other platforms such as YouTube and Twitch. Though it offers basic games for its users, Facebook Gaming is struggling to compete.

Hereon you will not be able to access triple-a titles like Grand Theft Auto V. While you can still be able to play titles such as Words With Friends, Uno, and more.if you’ve got a Facebook account.

It seems like the app is unpublished on October 28th, but the services will still remain the same.
