Players can refund cosmetic items in Fortnite using Return Requests to get their V-Bucks back. Many of the players end up wrongly purchasing items like skin or wrap from Fortnite Item Shop. It is only after you have made the purchase that you are not happy about it.
Return Requests tickets feature gives you the ability to revise your decision by returning the items. The feature has been in Fortnite for a while, though players are limited to three refunds per account. You also need to understand you cannot get back a Return Request once you use it. This is where everything changes in the latest update. Now players will start with three new Return Requests and later earn back a Return Request exactly 365 days after the most recent use. This means players will be able to earn back one Return Request per year.
How to Refund cosmetic items in Fortnite using Return Requests?
You can refund cosmetic items you purchased using V-Bucks in Fortnite using Return Request within 30 days of its purchase. Players cannot return items bought more than a month ago. You can do this by following the steps mentioned below.
- Open the Settings from the lobby
- Navigate to the Account and Privacy tab (player silhouette icon)
- Click on Submit a Request
- Select an item from the list provided
- Only the items purchased in the last 30 days will appear
- Click Submit Return Request
- Select Yes
- V-Bucks will be credited to your account
Items you can refund in Fortnite
