Activision has confirmed the latest Call of Duty: Vanguard update takes less space on Xbox series X|S.
The latest updates will require the below-mentioned space.
- Xbox Series X |S: 61 GB Download | 61 GB Required Space
- Xbox One: 56.6 GB Download | 56.6 GB Required Space
- PlayStation 5: 64.13 GB Download | 89.84 GB Required Space
- PlayStation 4: 54.65 GB Download | 93.12 GB Required Space
The latest development will allow users to manage storage space and reduce the game’s overall file size during or after the pre-load.
According to Activision, the game will occupy less space on your Xbox Series X|S than before.
Sledgehammer games developer is using some new on-demand texture streaming technology, this decreases the first-person shooter’s footprint on your drives, resulting in remarkable size reductions up to 30 to 50% or more on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC.
Call of Duty in a tweet said, “Good news for hard drives everywhere: Vanguard’s install size at launch will be significantly below the previous Call of Duty releases.”
