Now play Fortnite again on your iOS device thanks to GeForce, this looks possible with the latest update from Nvidia’s GeForce Now streaming service.

After Apple banned Fortnite on the App Store, iPhone gamers were deprived of playing Fortnite on iOS devices. In a blog post Nvidia mentioned, starting from next week, Fortnite on GeForce NOW will launch a limited-time closed beta for mobile, all streamed through the Safari web browser on iOS and the GeForce NOW Android app. This will only be available for GeForce Now subscribers.

A new type of touch-based controls for Fortnite is also being developed by Nvidia for Epic Games. The touch controls have been there as part of Fortnite’s mobile version, though the new controls will be more user-friendly for streaming the game from the cloud.

As a result of the dispute with Apple, Fortnite was removed from the iOS App Store in August 2020. Likewise, Fortnite was also banned from Android Play Store, though players can still download the game via the Epic Games app.

We are yet to hear comments on the recent developments from Apple. It is still unclear if Apple will allow this move by Epic Games and Nvidia. Especially considering the nature of the high-profile case and the controversy between Epic and Apple. Let’s see what the future holds, but the new update is certainly going to make the iPhone gamers happy.
