Amazon has had to combat a major issue of trolls from ‘Lord of the Rings’ posting negative reviews on the new Amazon Prime Video series.

The characters in “The Lord of the Rings” on Amazon are too busy fighting creatures, such as trolls and Orcs and other creatures of Middle-earth.

To protect themselves against negative reviews, Amazon has paused the ability to leave a review of their fantasy series.

Amazon wants some bloggers to delay publication for 3 days before posting publicly because other people may cooperate with bots or trolls. These people are now evaluated for their claims, which is usually being determined by our system, to see if they are genuine or not.

On sites like Rotten Tomatoes and IMDb, “The Rings of Power” was being reviewed poorly. The professional critic score is 84% favorable and the user score is 39%.

The company is experiencing a change in societal norms and social media. Knowing this can be scary, but nonetheless necessary for the culture as a whole.

Over the first 24 hours available on Amazon Prime, 98% of viewers streamed The Grand Tour.

Here’s a review of the series that Amazon couldn’t block on Twitter
