According to Arabian Business, Dubai may soon come up with a new $5 billion moon themed luxury resort. The brains behind the moon themed luxury resort is a Canadian architectural company, Moon World Resorts Inc (MWR).
One of the ambitious architecture projects recently launched in Dubai is the plan to suspend a city around the iconic Burj Khalifa, which is currently the tallest building in the world.
A resort from the creators of Hard Rock has been proposed. It will take 48 months to be completed, and is 224 meters tall (735 feet). The ambitious project will be big, and people are expecting it to be 224 meters tall. It occupies an area of 435,600 sq feet and will have something called a lunar colony. With Moon Dubai, you can expect a boost in the economy in categories such as hospitality, entertainment, attractions, and more.
An article suggests that a new area will be opening in Bangkok and will offer an array of services that are still unspecified.
There’s a space hub for astronauts to train in, and it offers an alternative place on Earth to explore. The venue is meant to mimic a lunar décor, but also be a great meeting place for space agencies.
Moon Resort will attract 2.5 million space enthusiasts each year and will also offer 300 private residences for those interested in settlements inside the superstructure’s disc buildings.
Each of the luxury units will be 2000 sq feet, and owners will have a lifetime access to the Moon Owners Club.
When will the Moon Resort Project Start?
MWR is currently the one in charge of this architectural project. In 2023, MWR plans on visiting Dubai and other countries in the MENA region as part of a global entrepreneurship trip to demonstrate their unique architecture.
The construction of the resort is expected to be completed within 48 months and will follow gold LEED certification.
MWR has three more planned resorts, one in the MENA region, North America, and Asia. The resorts are based on Moon-themed concepts which include a relaxing day spa, a party room for your group event, and even a lunar observatory for stargazing.
