A short film titled “Man Versus Musk” is seeking 75 to 100 social media influencers who can upload videos for $100. The videos are about ignoring the issue of distracted driving by Elon Musk’s company dominating the self-driving car market.
This is the only monologue writing contest with a national conversation about distracted driving. It includes instructions on how to post and submit your monologue.
“The automotive industry has direct responsibility for the dangers on our roads. They aren’t just making cars that won’t be around in a few years, but are creating dangerous situations for current drivers.”
Tesla did not immediately respond to a request for comment. This film accuses Ludicrous Mode of Tesla of being the greatest advocate for distracted driving ever.
One expert has made a lot of money off the idea of self-driving cars. One Tesla stockholder criticizes the film for its lack of facts.
Elon Musk’s Tesla CEO has been under the microscope recently because the company is the only car maker with semi-autonomous cars. And people are not happy about how he is using them.
Skopp said in his post, “the film aims to show a different side of self-driving cars.”
He suggests drivers take a moment and evaluate their current methods of engagement with their devices to see where they might be able to make improvements.
