Reading Time: 2 minutes

According to 9to5Google, the search giant is working on the latest feature called “Memory” for Google Assistant. The Google Assistant Memory feature will revolutionize savings and reminders on Android.

The latest feature is a combination of a to-do-list, a note app, a pocket-like reading list. The latest update will make it remember more things you want.

9to5Google revealed their findings during an APK teardown, currently, it is in the early stages of its development.

What will the Google Assistant Memory feature do?

Google Assistant Memory feature will offer users a variety of content, this includes articles, books, contacts, events, flights, hotels, images, movies, music, notes, photos, places, playlists, products, recipes, reminders, restaurants, screenshots, shipments, TV shows, videos, and websites.

Google App will get a dedicated Memory section, this is where all the memories will be stored and presented in reverse chronological order. You can also filter the memory into Important and Read Later categories. A search bar on the top of the screen will enable you to search for specific memories.

As far as content goes, this can also be added to the memory. This will help the assistant to present you with some helpful suggestions. For instance, if you save details of your upcoming flight, the assistant can suggest you check the flight status.

When you ask the assistant to save the screenshot of a webpage it can also save its URL.

When I get Memory on my Phone?

There is no release date mentioned by Google as of now, though reports suggest it is currently in “dogfood” testing for Google employees.

There are many features Google has been working on in the past, some are yet to see daylight. So we will have to wait for Google Assistant Memory to reach our phone.
