Consumers can now make voice payments with Alexa pay for gas at Exxon and Mobil Gas Stations, thanks to the collaboration between ExxonMobil, Fiserv, Amazon Pay, and Alexa.

The latest feature allows users to make voice payments using a simple voice command like “Alexa, pay for gas”. The feature has been launched across thousands of Exxon and Mobil gas stations all around the US.

How “Alexa, pay for gas” work?

Amazon Alexa users can head over to the Alexa App on their smartphone, vehicles with Alexa built-in, or the Echo Auto devices to complete the payment for fuel just using their voice.

The feature is available in nearly 11,500 Exxon and Mobil gas stations across the US. Everyone can use it assisted by the Amazon Pay services simply by saying “Alexa, pay for gas.”

However, it is a feature available for more than 10 months for every Amazon Alexa user, along with all the conveniences it includes.
