The new Google Pixel 6 bug an addition to the already existing long list of bugs, declines some incoming calls without even ringing the phone. The latest Google Pixel bug is impacting phone calls on both versions of the smartphone.
A report published on PhoneArena said some users discovered the calls were declined without any interaction with the user.
Reddit user /merryjaina said their phone declined calls without any notification. Neither were there any miss call notifications on the phone and you can only spot it when you are told elsewhere that you’ve missed a call. The attempted call in the phone’s log shows it was declined. Users have now raised an issue and claim to have a similar problem in both Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro units.
Some users suggest the issue is related to the Do Not Disturb features on the Pixel 6 series. Though according to the original user these features are turned off on their phone and the issue still persists. That means there isn’t a quick fix if this bug impacts you.
We are still waiting for Google to comment on the bug, while it is still unclear if the search giant knows about it and is working on a fix.
We can expect to see some fixes for issues in Android 13, later this year. Stay tuned with us as we bring you a list of all the bugs in the Pixel 6 series phone.
