The latest Spider-Man – Across the Spider trailer shows a glimpse of the multiverse. The trailer shows Miles Morales (Shameik Moore) and Gwen Stacy (Hailee Steinfeld) come across several other spider-people. This includes new faces, like Spider-Woman (Issa Rae) and the Spider-Man from the Insomniac-developed PlayStation game.
We get a sneak peek at the amazing fight scene between Morales and Spider-Man 2099 as well as Stan Lee’s cameo! We sadly didn’t get the opportunity to see some of the other characters expected in the upcoming movie like The Spot, a villain made up of interdimensional portals, and Spider-Punk.
This movie offers the following synopsis, “Spider-Man is catapulted across the Multiverse, giving him the chance to encounter a team of Spider-People in charge of protecting it. When he learns that a threat is coming, though, he must choose which group to side with to protect the people he cares about.”
Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse was originally set to debut this year, but there has been a production delay due to a virus called covid. The first part is now delayed until June 2nd, 2023. This means that the second part of the movie will not be released until March 15th, 2024.
