Snoop Dogg launches a custom NFT Collection in The Sandbox metaverse. The Snoop Dogg NFT collection will comprise a collection of 10000 unique NFTs, each avatar with unique traits and features. The entire collection sold out shortly after it was launched.
Snoop Dogg in a tweet mentioned the launch of his NFT collection that will consist of 10,000 playable NFTs. This limited edition of NFTs will be called “The Doggies” and are designed by the rapper himself.
The announcement follows after the rapper’s announcement of the conversion of Death Row into the world’s first NFT music label. It was launched on February 22, 2022, just before the opening of Alpha Season 2 in The Sandbox.

The details mentioned on the official website suggest each avatar in the collection will “unlock unique utility” and will extend “beyond a simple NFT”. The NFTs can also be “playable in The Sandbox”. While the player’s own avatar from the collection will be able to unlock future features and mints in the metaverse.
The programmatically generated and voxelated NFTs of Snoop Dogg avatars will feature over 150 traits. From the second season of the game, the avatars will be playable. The owners will be able to attend events and concerts, complete quests, hang out with friends, and explore the metaverse.
The NFTs will be launched on the basis of rarity tiers, such as Human, Blue, Alien, Zombie, Dogg, Robot, and Golden. While two-thirds of the collection will be standard, each will have a unique trait and features to make them stand out from the rest of the collection.
With so many people eager to own part of the collection in the newly opened Alpha Season 2 of the game, the entire collection was sold out shortly after it was launched.
