Zipline Drone Delivery Company Retires Robin

Zipline, a leading name in the drone delivery space, retires Robin, a workhorse when it comes to delivery by drone.

According to a post on Linkedin, Zipline mentioned Robin is no more, with more than 57k hours in the air.

The Robin is known not only for its sexy airframe and flight bits but also for its daily drudge of consistent operation.

Zipline has been a cornerstone when it comes to continuous improvements in the logistics system that serves the people equally.

Robin has been officially retired today after being a workhorse for more than 3yrs. It flew more than 61k flights and 6130275 km. This is equivalent to 14 trips around the circumference of Jupiter.

The drone has been known to have saved lives and helped transform how healthcare is delivered.
