As they are rolled around a sturdy cardboard reel, storing and unrolling them is easy. While the 5-foot-9-inch power cord offers plenty of reach from the power outlet.

You cannot connect two sets of Festavia lights in case you have a bigger tree. You can connect another string up the tree and control both simultaneously via the Hue app.

The Hue app offers six pre-set dynamic “winter holiday” lighting scenes, and when I set up a Christmas Zone in the app. Additionally you can also pick any of Hue’s dozens of other scenes. The transition cycle through their colors and brightness is dynamic that creates a subtle lighting effect.  You can tune in the speed up the changes, and at the fastest level, it’s much more obvious without being flashy.
