How to update your Samsung Galaxy device to Android 11?

Usually, you will get a notification from Samsung about the software update. You simply need to tap it and it gets updated automatically ie Via OTA update.

Update Samsung Galaxy Device via OTA update

  1. Go to Samsung Galaxy device settings.
  2. Scroll down, Tap on Software update.
  3. Tap on Download and Install.
  4. Follow the steps if an update is available.

Manually Updating your Samsung Galaxy DeviceSamsung’s Odin tool

If you are not able to automatically download Samsung Galaxy Device updates, you can do it manually using Samsung’s Odin tool.

Before you begin the update process make sure you have the latest Samsung USB drivers installed on your PC.

  1. Download the latest One UI update for the Samsung Galaxy device here. (Note: install the correct firmware as a wrong update may brick your phone).
  2. Extract the file on your PC.
  3. Download and install Samsung’s Odin tool
  4. Switch off your device and hold these buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds to get into download mode — POWER + VOLUME DOWN + BIXBY
  5. Connect your Samsung Galaxy device via USB cable.
  6. Wait for a blue box to appear on Odin.
  7. Add the extracted One UI update file to the AP field.
  8. Confirm you only select F.Reset Time and Auto-Reboot
  9. Click on Start.
