iPhone 14 Plus Or iPhone 14 Max what is your take on these names for the latest iPhone. Recent references on Apple’s website suggest iPhone 14 Max was originally intended for the low-end 6.7-inch device before they decided to go with iPhone 14 Plus.
According to iCreate a Dutch blog, the official website of Apple twice referred to the iPhone 14 Plus as the “iPhone 14 Max. In its support documents Apple has an image of iPhone Plus models in five colors named as “iPhone-14-Max-colors.”
On another page that provides compliance and regulatory information for the company’s products. The Cupertino-based tech giant listed “iPhone 14 Max” with the iPhone 14 Plus model number, alongside the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max.
Many people believed the iPhone 14 would be a larger low-end model with the name iPhone 14 Max, but it was not until a few days before Apple’s iPhone launch event that another leak suggested it would be called the iPhone 14 Plus instead of iPhone 14.
Both the 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch iPhones share the same features, but the latter has a larger screen and battery. Apple may have believed that the “Plus” name better suited a device that offered all of the same features as a smaller one, but in a different form (larger). The 6.7-inch iPhone 14 is now available for pre-order and will arrive to customers on Friday, October 7th.
