The Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL have not reached India but the expected launch date is November 1st. Smartphones are already available now in the US. There has been a buzz created and now many international websites have tested and reported their reviews based on their tests conducted on the new Google devices. Most of them unanimously agree to the fact that both devices come with superior camera capabilities. Though there are a few disagreements in other aspects of smartphones.

According to The Verge, Google has gone back to basics with the two new devices. After undergoing a lot of criticism over the earlier Pixel 2 and 2 XL last year, have managed to jump back with a lot of improvements. The website is extremely pleased with the large screen and an improved camera. Though it’s not impressed with the back which can easily get scratches and the notch present in the Pixel 3 XL which seems to be pretty visible.
TechRadar writes the Pixel 3 makes the best photos of the moment. It comes with a 12.2-megapixel camera on the back which performs exceedingly well, especially in low light. Further, the website states that the Pixel 3 is better than its bigger brother because it is easier to hold. Power User will be happy to go for the Pixel 3 XL as it comes with better battery life.

9To5Google is all praises for the screen of both Google Pixel phones. Though the Pixel 3 XL clearly is a winner when it comes to the camera. Currently, the Pixel 3 XL is the best smartphone with superior camera quality and smarter software. The site is not happy as far as the battery life is concerned as it feels it is less than the Galaxy Note 9.

Wired write they are sure of their business. They further suggest that whoever buys an Android phone this year should go ahead and buy the Pixel 3 (XL). They too agree Google has managed to bring the best camera to the devices and very fast software. They feel that the battery life of Google Pixel 3 to be fine, though TechRadar found it to be inferior.

CNET also agree with others that the phones come with an impressive camera and praised the possibilities of Google Assistant. Though we are not sure if we in India will get the same version as in the US. CNET is not happy with the placement of the notch in Pixel 3 XL and also the lack of a headphone input is a missed opportunity.
