The simple yet powerful device makes photography easy for kids, without the need to connect to the internet or expensive instant-developing photo paper.All you need is the camera's companion smartphone app. It enables you to transfer the photos to your phone, edit them, and even design labels/stickers for your kid to print out and mark their belongings. That's not all, the child-friendly design features a round-rectangular body with soft corners, ears on the side to anthropomorphize the design. The easy-to-use interface, a vibrant color scheme match the Pantone Colors of the Year and are perhaps its most underrated feature. The lanyard allows the kids to carry the camera around their neck just like a pro photographer and ensures the camera stays on them and doesn’t get lost.The camera is minimal i.e. no complex assemblies and cartridges, the camera is shipped with a cradle to dock it on, and runs on a built-in 1,500mAh battery that gives up to 5 full hours of continuous usage. Accompanied by a memory card slot, which allows you to store photos and videos digitally on an SD card. It also allows you to transfer media via Wifi to another person's phone for editing or posting on social media on behalf of the children. The USB2.0 slot on the side enables you to transfer media to other devices like a laptop. Once the images are transferred onto the computers it makes it easy to edit them in professional software and print them out in color on your desktop printer. Don't forget the myFirst Insta Wi features its own thermal printer too. It makes printing easy and cost-effective without requiring complex parts like expensive ink cartridges.The InstaWi camera also turns into a label maker with the help of the smartphone app, the kids can design labels and print them out on adhesive-backed thermal ink paper. With the thermal paper that sits inside the camera’s body they can print photos they clicked with a push of a button. The camera features two cameras, the first is the front-facing camera with a focus distance of 50mm, and the rear selfie-cam with a focus distance of 20mm for those closer shots. The camera is easy to use, you can click pictures at resolutions of 6, 9, or 12 megapixels, and even perform HD video recording at 1080p or 720p (at 30fps) with audio. The 2.4″ IPS LCD panel on the rear of the camera acts as your viewfinder, letting you compose your shots. Additionally, the Insta Wi comes with its own set of pre-installed filters and frames, it makes taking photos and videos a great deal of fun… without having to hand your kid a smartphone! The myFirst Insta Wi camera is shipped with a dock/cradle, the lanyard, a USB data/PD cable, a MicroSD Card and Card Reader, a user manual. It also includes 5 different rolls of thermal-ink paper for regular, sticker-paper, and label-cut. By default, the camera uses any regular 57mm-wide roll of thermal-ink paper, though you can also buy transparent and colored paper rolls as an add-on purchase.
