Nvidia Omniverse Avatar Cloud Engine (ACE) offers easier and faster deployment of interactive avatars for its Omniverse and metaverse applications.
Omniverse’s AI-powered avatars can respond to natural speech and make intelligent recommendations. These avatars are currently available to developers with the launch of the Omniverse ACE platform at the GTC keynote event.
Nvidia showcased Violet, an AI assistant that allows you to place orders by voice. This particular AI will be able to understand and communicate with people, and has the building blocks needed to bring them to life. With technology like “audio to face” for example, this avatar should be able to lip-sync without a problem. Thanks to Nvidia Omniverse Avatar Cloud Engine (ACE)
Jensen Huang, CEO of Nvidia, in the GTC 2022 keynote event said, “Emerging metaverse applications like avatars will do computer vision, speech AI, language understanding, and computer graphics in real time and at cloud scale. Nothing like this has ever been done before.”
To achieve clear communication in virtual interactions, Nvidia demoed Maxine. Maxine is a real-time audio and video communication technology that delivers high quality audio and video communications.
NVIDIA Maxine is an AI-based software kit that excels at enhancing the audio, video and augmented reality aspects of what you are watching. Nvidia Omniverse ACE makes it easier to build and deploy intelligent virtual assistants and digital humans at scale.
A virtual character will stand in for you in the future’s metaverse, or universe of virtual worlds. This idea is explored in popular novels such as Snow Crash and Ready Player One.
To animate 3D avatars, developers need to ensure the character can see, hear and understand what people are saying. But in the past there have been many challenges such as the need for expensive equipment, specific expertise and time-consuming workflows.
Nvidia Omniverse ACE can make attractive, customizable avatars for any organization. And unlike many minimally-intelligent bots, these AI assistants are designed to answer difficult questions with ease. Making it possible for any industry to enhance organizations existing workflows and explore new business opportunities.
